The Transfercenter für Kunststofftechnik GmbH (TCKT) was an exhibitor at the “Long night of research 2016”, located at the University of Applied Sciences in Wels. Visitors of all ages could test composites for their load carrying capacity and feel the weight in comparison to steel, to get a grip on these materials. Also, tensile test on different films were shown, where the differences could be seen with the naked eye. Additionally, TCKT keyrings in many different colours were produced to demonstrate injection moulding with our “Babyplast”, as a giveaway for the visitors. It was a pleasure to see how interested and interactive our visitors were while this night – we hope to see you next time!
