This year composites was the topic of the annual Riso Symposium in Denmark, where researchers from all around the world were meeting to report and discuss about the different aspects of the mechanisms controlling composites properties. The TCKT was represented by Christoph Burgstaller, who gave a talk about “Interlaminar interaction in paper thermoplastic laminate composites”, which is also available as open access publication. The high-levelled program and the good scientific contacts made this conference one of this year’s highlights and we look forward to the series in three years will again deal with composites.
