The last three days, from 27th to 29th of June, the top researchers on polymer processing met in Dresden for the regional Europe-Africa-Conference of the Polymer Processing Society. More than 430 participants from 39 countries presented their research in lectures and posters and discussed with their peers. The TCKT was represented by Christoph Burgstaller with a lecture on “The influence composition on the properties of polyethylene based blends”. Besides colleagues from the universities in Leoben and Linz and the University of applied sciences in Wels we also met old acquaintances – one of them being Piotr Rzeczkowski, who went to the IPF in Dresden for his PhD after finishing his master thesis at the TCKT.
The conference was extraordinary and want to congratulate the organisers on their success and thank them for a great meeting.
