The European Composite Conference ECCM takes place every 2 years in an European city and is the place to exchange new research and progress in the field of composite materials. This year the TCKT travelled to Athens to attend the 18th edition of the conference, which lasted for four days. The dense program of lectures comprised almost every aspect regarding the processing, material development and testing of composite materials. Industry related as well as academic research were presented and discussed in 13 parallels sessions.
The TCKT contributed with two Poster presentations to the scientific program:
- Martina Prambauer: Study on process-induced degradation of cellulose fibers in thermoplastic composites
- Karl Moser: Influence of Formulation Parameters on the Properties of Thermoplastic Fabric Reinforced Composites
After a successful week, we were heading home with a lot of new ideas, inputs as well as valuable contacts in our baggage.
