Again, we modernised our equipment for compounding – last year we invested in a new twin screw extruder, to replace the 15 year old predecessor – and this year we upgraded our system with an underwater pelletising system in addition to our waterbath and strand cutter combination. With the new system, larger quantities of granules, which are often used for trial runs at our customers’ and partners’ facilities, can be produced easier and more efficient.
