The EPF2022 "European Polymer Congress" took place in Prague from 26.06. - 01.07.2022 under the motto "A hub for inspiring thoughts in polymer science and industry". During five days, a wide range of lectures and poster presentations were given on the main topics polymer chemistry, plastics processing, sustainability and characterisation of polymer materials. Among the approx. 800 international participants were also four scientists from TCKT, who presented their project results in the following poster contributions:
- Barbara Liedl: "Tailoring PLA Properties by Reactive Extrusion"
- Bianca Purgleitner: "Improving the properties of post-consumer recyclate with natural zeolite"
- Nina Wolfsgruber: "Relationship between the interface of matrix and filler on the thermal conductivity as well as the mechanical properties of the composite"
In addition to the diverse and interesting technical presentations, there were also plenty opportunities for networking: we met familiar faces and made new contacts. It was a successful, very well organised event.
