Dipl.-Ing. Volker Reisecker is head of the industry orders as well as head of the testing laboratory at the Transfercenter für Kunststofftechnik. He studied plastic technology at the Montanuniversität Leoben. His thesis, which was finished at the Polymer Competence Center Leoben (PCCL) in 2004, dealt with the characterisation of brittle/ductile-transition on different polyethylene-pipe types.
After working at the PCCL he began to work as researcher and project manager at the TCKT in 2005. Since then he has led more than 15 research projects with industry involvement, which were dealing with topics like properties modification (e.g. with filler materials), composite, 3D-print and recycling.
Part-time he is lector at the Upper Austria University of Applied Science in the field of plastic characterisation and processing as well as in the field of nanotechnology.
