Ing. Karl M. Moser, MSc. is a researcher and project manager at the Transfercenter für Kunststofftechnik. He started his work in 2002 after completing the HTBLA Wels for chemical engineering as an engineer in the field of plastics testing and processing. In 2010 he started the part-time studies of automation engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Wels. His bachelor thesis, which was completed in 2013, dealt with the CAD-based optimazation of a plastic wear measuring apparatus. He also completed his master´s degree at the University of Applied Sciences in Mechatronics and Business Management. The topic of his master thesis (2015) was the further development of a rapid tooling process for the production of injection mold inserts in the casting process.
His work deals with the continuation of the rapid tooling area as well as the structure-processing-property relationship of thermosetting and thermoplastic composites.
In the meantime, he took over the management of the design team at Ulbrichts, which works as a manufacturer of emblems, logos and design elements for the automotive industry, from 09/2018 before returning to TCKT in 03/2020.
